AMANOFGOD

Barrywasstandingbesidehisfather’sgrave,inalittleplotintheBoulognecemeterysetapartforBritishofficers。Theyhad,onebyone,goneawayandlefthimuntil,alone,hestoodlookingdownonthesimplewoodencrossonwhichwererecordedthename,age,andunitofthesoldierwiththedateofhisdeath,andunderneaththesimplelegend,eloquentofheroicsacrifice,"Diedofwoundsreceivedinaction。"
