Thehousesofthenatives,constructedoftheyellowbamboo,tastefullytwistedtogetherinakindofwicker-work,andthatchedwiththelongtaperingleavesofthepalmetto,arescatteredirregularlyalongthesevalleysbeneaththeshadybranchesofthecocoa-nuttrees。
